What’s Being Concealed From Us? And What Is The Right Thing To Do?

elephant-84186_640

Cowardice asks the question – Is it safe?
Expediency asks the question – Is it politic?
Vanity asks the question – Is is popular?
But Conscience asks the question – Is it Right?
And, there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular; but one must take it BECAUSE it is right.”

…Martin Luther King

There is a story about an elephant who, at 6,000 lbs. just stood there with a small chain wrapped around his ankle. What was so strange about this spectacle was that this creature made no attempt to break free from the small stake he was tied to. Something he could have easily done. This was a very puzzling thing indeed.

As it turns out, when this beautiful, magnificent elephant was a mere 200 lbs. he was chained to that very same stake. Every day. You see, he was conditioned to believe day after day, in his young years that he could not break free from his bonds and so, as an adult he never tried.

How many of us have avoided trying something new because of a conditioned thought? Worse still, how many of us have not taken a stand because of someone’s else’s limited beliefs?

How hard is it to become free and healed when there is a chance that it might not be safe, nor politic, nor popular?

This is where we are today. We have felt powerless for so long that we are at the risk of not realizing that we are the powerful now. We are at the risk of staying enslaved forever. Is this what we truly want for ourselves and humanity?

Well, here’s something we can do now. A baby step if you will…but an intensely powerful and potent elephant baby step…So simple, yet important and influential enough to change the direction of our future.

I came across a person by the name of Ty Bollinger some time ago. He is on a mission to eradicate cancer by teaching the world all the best methods to prevent, treat, heal from, and beat the disease…

…And to expose Big Pharma who profits BIG TIME by concealing the truth and feeding the public lies that cause millions unnecessary suffering (and their very lives).

Well, a short while ago, Ty released an uplifting and mesmerizing 9-part documentary series on “The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest.” I was both captivated and held spellbound by the amount of unbelievably credible information that was delivered in this documentary.  I couldn’t wait each day for the next part in the series. It was THAT good!

I am happy to share with you today an incredible opportunity!

Beginning April 12, they are going to re-release “The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest” 9-part documentary series for a limited time (for free).

Do yourself a favor and click on the link or copy and paste the link to watch for free “The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest” video series that starts April 12th.

https://go.thetruthaboutcancer.com/?ref=586efb86-29f0-4dea-9876-101078c8c01a

I have nothing to gain by doing this. I just feel very strongly about the truth of this film series as I lost a sister to breast cancer.

You see, I am beginning to listen to my inner voice, to heed my intuition in matters of the heart. My conscience tells me that this is the right thing to do.

A Lesson in Letting Go…and Community

“Make like a tree and let the dead leaves drop.”

…Rumi

In the dead of winter there is this temptation to  cocoon or numb our senses until the bumblebees and the butterflies and the flowers come back to us in the spring. But, each season holds its own treasures waiting to be unlocked by those who are awake.

Nature doles out its treasures, its wisdom if only we participate. We can grasp deep understandings of the cycles of our Mother Earth.

Something that I’ve personally been beginning to learn when I walk in the cold and the silence is that feeling of exhilarating peace. And joy. And, I slowly, I have begun to shed what is not needed…I drop those dead leaves.

What limiting beliefs, habits, or relationships are you perhaps holding on to that no longer serve you?

Those majestic Maples, willowy Birches, stately Oak trees, and the like have no trouble letting go of everything each year. They have an understanding on a deep level that new leaves will return when the time is right.

And, the really wonderful thing is that nature uses all those dead leaves to fertilize the ground around those very trees that dropped them. So…in the spring they become strengthened once again.

And, I just recently came across this wonderful short story written by a friend that I’d like to share with you…It’s about a Birch Forest…

It occurs to me that we are a lot like birches…

Birches often grow very close together. They actually prefer it. Birch trees don’t do nearly as well alone as they do together. Truth be told, they don’t really do a good job of putting down roots. What that means is that they don’t grow to be all that old…not in tree years anyway.

A Maple will live to a ripe old age of 150. An Elm, up to 200. The stately Oak will tower over us in acorned glory for up to 450 years if allowed.

Not so the beautiful but fragile Birch. If it makes 100 it is a VERY old tree. Without a good root system things just don’t survive. Something that big needs sustenance and stability. It needs something that will keep it secured and strong in the famine and the storms of life. Sound familiar at all?

Because Birches don’t do well with roots they rely heavily on the closeness of their fellow tree folk. What they may lack in the ability to grow roots, they make up for in their well-grounded desire for ‘community.’ You will often find them leaning into each other and growing around each other with branches intertwined. Birches need each other…and they seem to know it. Sound familiar at all?

So, wherever you find yourself during this Winter season…whatever sustenance is needed, whatever storms are raging…take time to remember. Remember your roots and revel in your community!

~ Brent Helwig

And the wind said:  “May you be as strong as the Oak, yet flexible as the Birch. May you stand tall as the Redwood, live gracefully as the Willow, and may peace and prosperity surround you all of your days.”

How To Grand Slam Your Destiny In One Word…And It’s Not What You Think

baseball-583653_640

“It’s impossible,” said Pride…”It’s risky,” said Experience…”It’s pointless,” said Reason…”Give it a try.” whispered the Heart.”

…Unknown

Sometimes life hurls a curve ball at us. Sometimes life lobs us a sucker punch. No one is immune. We all get ’em at some point in our life.

It’s at those moments when we are driven to our knees by an overwhelming conviction that there is no where else to go...well, it’s at those moments when, for some, a light bulb goes off. A decision is made.

Just a single nano moment in time when, for some, they find deep within themselves, something to live for. Some meaning that they put at the centre of their lives where even the worst kind of suffering becomes bearable.

What is it that they discover? What is it that sets off this inner drive that NO ONE can puncture?

Push everything aside for a few moments and check this one out…

You won’t find the depth of this process at the beginning of your journey. It seldom happens. For, when we set out on this quest no matter how challenging or unnerving it may seem, is there anything easier than the beginning?

No, it’s when you feel like you’ve “struck out,” when you’re not sure you can continue…when it seems like it’s time to leave this madness behind…It’s then that someone comes along, or, something happens…it’s usually something that appears very strange…a coincident, a dream, your imagination…and you just have a knowing that you should continue.

This process can be summed up in one word:  PASSION.

As pursued by a wordsmith who spent his life studying where words came from and their true meaning, this word “passion” first surfaced in the twelfth century and, coined by Christian scholars, it means to suffer. In the purest sense, it describes the willing suffering of Christ.

Passion doesn’t mean suffering for suffering’s sake though. It must be pure and willing suffering. And, there is a link between suffering, or passion, and sacrifice. The word “sacrifice” comes from the Latin word ‘sacra’ which means sacred , and  ‘fice,’ which means to perform. To sacrifice is to perform the sacred.

So, at its very core, “passion” is sacred suffering. The good news is that suffering is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s life defining. It’s noble.

And, the real meaning of the word “passion” is being willing to suffer for what you love. For, when we discover what we are willing to pay a price for…it is then that we discover our life’s mission and true purpose here in this world we live in.

Instead of letting outside influences determine the direction of your life….why not “grand slam” your own destiny?

“Give it a try.” whispers your Heart…

And to give you a bit of inspiration…worthwhile watching…

What If…

rocket-launch-67646_640

“Do not go gentle into that good night; Old age should burn and rage at close of day. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

…Dylan Thomas as quoted by Professor Brand.

I was travelling this past week and, while on route, I watched a movie. It was not a typical movie that I would be attracted to, but one that was recommended to me by someone I have grown to have a deep respect for. So I pressed the “Play” button and sat back to watch. Never expecting to be blown away. Never expecting to be taken to a new level of thinking while I watched.

The pilot had said, “Sit back. Relax. Enjoy the flight.” And, so like a spectator, along for the ride, I did just that.

But, this was one of those movies that as you got deeper and deeper into it, you knew intuitively that it was special.  You knew, watching this that it was no longer okay to be lulled into false sense of calm, to be a bystander, an onlooker.

Funny isn’t it, how different it is when you are the driver, choosing your own route, and taking ownership for whatever happens?

So, how do you become the driver in a way that doesn’t cause fear and a sense of doom to all those who are on the road with you? How do you do it in a way that has you slamming on the brakes and skidding to a stop shouting “Wow, what a ride!”

Check out the new level of thinking I discovered Here…

We are all artists whether we like it or not. For some, this takes the form of math or science, or law; for others, it’s photography or teaching, or scuba diving. But, we each have our own studio. And, we can leave it dark and empty, or we can bring it to life.

WHAT IF, as we’re driving along this highway of life, we threw out the window all that stuff that has kept us prisoners of our own minds? Those places where the mind is absolutely sure that things are what they’re made out to be?

WHAT IF the next time you read something, or saw a video that seemed to be way too out there to be true, you stopped yourself when your mind started thinking, “That’s ridiculous.” Or, “Conspiracy theory.” And, listening with your heart, you said to yourself instead, “WHAT IF?”

It will open up a whole new level of thinking for you. And, it’s that kind of thinking that is desperately needed in this world today. That heart thinking. Instead of the old race track of thinking… looping and speeding around and around but going nowhere.

You see, our planet is situated in a place Between. The. Stars.  With unlimited possibilities. Like the movie, there is powerful energy out there just waiting for us. YOU are in the driver’s seat.

WHAT IF the only keys you need to start the engine is LOVE?

WHAT IF…

Get Naked In Public

gymnastics-514617_640

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
…Albert Einstein

Picture this. I’m at the tender young age of 15, standing in the middle of the gymnasium floor waiting for the music to start so I can begin my gymnastics floor routine. Spectators are everywhere!

I feel it in my bones that I have the most spectacular routine EVER. I am aiming to get first or second so I can move on to the Provincials. It’s an explosive routine right out of the gate and I am excited to be doing it. I know I am “on”. Any second and I will be on my way to the routine of my lifetime!

And, then it happened.

Silence. I mean pin-dropping silence! There was no music! No…wait. There it was. But, something was wrong. The music to my floor routine began, but in the middle of the sequence!

All hell broke loose. There was pandemonium everywhere! Coaches, judges, officials all scurrying about. I am standing in the middle of the floor in utter disbelief and shock.

And, then I did this…

I run. Off the floor. Right into my father who, for some unknown reason, happens to be at my gym meet. I look at him with alligator tears and am just about to collapse in a heap at his feet, when he takes me by the shoulders, looks me dead straight in the eye and says, “You get back out there. Remember WHO you are. You are a member of this family and that means something. You get out there and do that floor routine with or without music! Now, take a couple of deep breaths, calm yourself, and get back out there.”

Just like that. Can you imagine? So, I reluctantly pick myself up, and walk back out to the middle of that floor and wait for what seems like forever.

I am told, in the end, that there is no music and that I am to do my routine without it. Which I do. Singing the melody in my head while my heart performed the best routine I have choreographed. EVER. I finish it. It is flawless except for one thing. No music.

I end up coming in third, but I leave feeling as if I won first place.

To this very day, whenever I think about it…I think about the courage that it took to go back out there. I was standing naked in public. Vulnerable. Fragile.

And, it makes me smile. I think about my father in his quiet, yet commanding way, telling me to take deep breaths so I would be calm.

And, I think about how very proud of myself I was because I had proved without a doubt, what I was capable of.

It wasn’t until years later, that I really came to understand how that one small incident…that extremely powerless moment in time when I felt naked in public, helped shape my life.

Vulnerability I have come to have a great respect for. It is our most accurate measurement of courage.

You see my intuitive mind took over that day. My rational mind would have never allowed that to happen.

So, this week, if you’re feeling stuck…Get naked in public. Be vulnerable. Let your heart be brave. The world is waiting for You!

What Really Happens When You Follow Your Heart

SteveJobsCloseUp

“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
…Steve Jobs

It takes courage to follow your heart because the ground around you starts to shift just a little bit. You become entrenched in unfamiliar territory. Some of the people you once considered friends slowly start to disappear. And, it can seem scary.

But, here’s what’s really happening…

You are beginning to become a little bit more explicit with your moral code. You are seeing that those subtleties of human decency, character, integrity…well, they are what really matters. In your heart you know that’s what’s always gonna matter.

For, when you combine the science of being able to read deception with the art of seeing and listening with your heart, you exempt yourself from participating in a lie. It’ like you are saying to everyone, Hey, my world, our world, it’s an honest one.  It is one where Truth is strengthened and deception is recognized for what it is and shut out.”

And, when you do that, the ground around you starts to shift just a little bit…and that’s the Truth.

As Steve Jobs said…and after all he knew what he was talking about, “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Go on now. Get out there. Do what you know you can do. You are sooo acing this life!

How To Get Conscious! 5 Ideas That Really Work

clothespins-9272_1280

“Consider the postage stamp: its usefulness consists in the ability to stick to one thing til it gets there.”
…Josh Billings

Now consider our brain.  Like a company, it has many departments that specialize in one thing in order to make the whole work more effectively.

The unfortunate reality is that because of our really busy lives, the everyday struggle for survival, the constant stress cycle we live in, we have become less intelligent.

Why? Well, that’s because we’re operating not from our conscious processes, we’re running the many departments in our brain from our hind brain reflexes ~ because it’s faster and survival oriented.

How do we change this? How do we slow down and evolve as a compliment to the intoxicating, compelling beings that we really are?

How to Get Conscious! 5 Ideas That Really Work.

1. The quickest, most effective way to slow down your brain is through deep breathing. As you learn once again to take deep breaths of oxygen into your lungs, you will experience immediately that your body starts to respond by slowing down. And, as you begin to pay attention to your breath, your mind will start to slow down as well. This is a good thing. For once you make a conscious connection with the breath, it will give you something more. Every. Single. Time.

2. Become aware of the Energetic System that is within your body. The long, slow breaths will help you with this. This system is also known as your Chakra System…7 tiny tornedo-like vortexes that spin the energy in your torso and head. This energy system takes in good, clean energy. It also assimilates the energy that is already there existing in your body. And, it releases any toxic energy that may be residing there without your knowledge.

3. Practice Meditation. This is an extremely effective way to raise your consciousness. This can be as simple as taking a walk in the forest, or riding your bike, or sitting in quiet contemplation. For you see, you are disconnecting with the busy-ness of your everyday life. You are giving a gift to yourself. It helps to open the gateway between your left and right brain. It helps you to create an awareness of life’s simple pleasures. If you don’t have the time to wash your clothes, hang them out to dry, and then breathe in that sweet freshness…you’re too busy!

4.  Get rid of the stories in your head. Make them like you instead. Start to see Fear for what it really is…a clever way to manipulate our minds into believing the stories we tell ourselves. We don’t think. Thinking happens to us. And, for most people, we are unfortunately at the mercy of the stories in our heads. Stop. Leave those negative thoughts behind. You really have no time for them in your life. They stop your flow.

5. Dreams, Imagination, Coincidence, Intuition. Powerful. It is not just a dream. It is not just your imagination. It is not just a coincidence. These things all happen in the limbic part of your brain. This center has no capacity for language. It’s why you can’t put into words why you want to do the things you do. It’s also called a “gut feeling.” You just know that you know. And, when you begin to get still enough to hear these whispers, you will never be led astray. Ever.

Are you serious about getting right with yourself? About becoming someone who has more energy, stronger intelligence, greater creative powers, a better sense of awareness?  Then, start with these 5 simple ideas to flush out those floundering, paralyzing thoughts and give your own consciousness the boost it deserves!

WARNING: Below is a banned TEDtalk on The War on Consciousness by Graham Hancock. It’s definitely controversial but worth the watch.

We Are Not Your Sheeple

sheeple

We have been referred to as “sheeple” by the infamous one percent. I resent that. I resent that my mind has been manipulated and controlled by this elitist group. In everything I do. Everywhere.

As we are awakening to a much larger plan for earth, these are the wildest, most intense times we’ve ever been in. Yet, if you look around everything looks EXACTLY THE SAME. You look out the window, you go for a walk, you smell the air…all the same.

There have been no large catastrophic events to speak of yet, but personally, it seems that everybody I know on a personal level is experiencing some kind of difficulty, or pain, or initiation, or depression, or anger, or FEAR.

The fact of the matter is that thanks to the internet, the truth is trickling in. People who once dismissed what they took to be outrageous statements are now going back to take a second look.

Recognizing some of the things that are going on in this world has not been easy. I followed my interests and my instincts and have studied many subjects from financial, to environmental, to spiritual. I gained a grasp of what was going on. I was not easy on me. I was laughed at and ridiculed.

However, when I read these articles on the false stories that have been foisted upon us, the general public, I felt a physical pain in my heart. I had a hard time breathing and I jumped up from where I had been sitting and started to pace. I broke down. I was having an Einstein moment…you know the one where “there comes a time when your mind takes on a higher plane of knowledge but can never prove how it got there.”

What I realize now was happening was that my world view, my understanding of government as being my protector was crushed. It felt like I had been hurled out onto the streets to fend for myself.

The first thing I did was I cried and I sobbed. And, then at some point I resigned myself in knowing that this thing was bigger than me and that I would have to take an pro-active role in educating other people about this.

Me. Who spent most of my life just trying to blend in was now being challenged to shine this light. I would have to risk that nice, comfortable way of being and exchange it for the chance of being called a flake, a conspiracy theorist, or worse, an utter whack job!

But I also knew that in order for me to maintain any sense of integrity, I couldn’t just let something like this go. And, so through all of this I have learned to trust myself. I trust myself now.

We, as citizens of this New Earth, we all need to take on the responsibility of learning and grasping this information for ourselves. But, what happens to most people when confronted by challenging new information is, they seek to preserve their current understanding of the world by rejecting, explaining away, or avoiding the new information. They convince themselves that no conflict really exists.

Epic change is upon us. We all know the “norms” for external living. We now need to get right with our own internal spirit and form a strong inner code for ourselves.

We’re all working through this collective consciousness uprising in our own ways. We are creating this New Earth from the inside out. We are the ones who must keep things transparent and honest for “truth is the only safe ground to stand on.”

Wisdom – Tip #23

Each and every one of us has all the wisdom and knowledge we ever need right inside of us. It is available to us through our intuitive mind, also known as our archaic brain. This is our connection with Universal Intelligence. If we sit still and get quiet enough, we will hear those whisperings…for stillness is the fence around wisdom.
