Stress Management: Restoring Our Lost Integrity

“Do not gain the world and lose your soul, wisdom is better than silver or gold.”

– Bob Marley

In times of recession, it’s hard not to think about money, or lack of it. If we don’t have any, we feel as though we are worthless. But, money does not have the ultimate power over our success and happiness. If understood correctly, money is merely a symbol of value. It is literally a piece of paper. It really has no true worth. It’s your attitude and beliefs around money that hold the true secret to having a life of integrity and happiness.

Wanna know how to do it?

In order to have an abundant flow of money through your life, you need to have an awareness, or consciousness that allows that abundant flow. Very often we focus on our lack or limitation of money and what that does is restrict the flow.

Let’s face it, it’s a jungle out there. Chances are that it’s also a jungle inside your head. Jaws roaring, fangs snapping, voices niggling. Running on and on and on. Eventually all that running leads you to running into yourself. Stop!

First Things, First!

In order to get a handle of things in your life, you must get quiet, I mean really quiet, and sit with your Self. Silence is a place of great power and healing. And, stillness is that fence around wisdom. For you see, the voice that whispers is every bit as important as the voice that shouts. But you have to get quiet to be able to hear it. And, to the mind that becomes still… the whole universe surrenders.

The Absolute Truth

For me, I know without a doubt, that truth is the only safe ground to stand on. Each one of you must find out what that truth is for YOU. You can continue your run on this path we call life saying and doing things you think other people want to hear. Never listening to that inner voice calling out to you. Not doing what you are really passionate about. Or, you can stop all that madness. Why not start today? If you don’t like the story you’re telling, change the direction!

Because in the end, what matters is your soul. WHO YOU ARE will never lose value. You are priceless to those who love you. Your worth comes not from the big house you own, or what you do, or how much money you have. Your worth comes from within.
